MyState (formerly ISU CoE) (iOS)

I am so happy that this application is out and into the hands of my fellow students and faculty here at Iowa State University! This application is a great help to anyone on campus. Modules include: news, events, laundry, directory (individual & department), athletics information, videos, social media options, campus map & building locations, bus schedules and more!

 

LMGTFY (iOS)

Let Me Google That For You, LMGTFY.com

This fun little side-project stared off as a joke; my friend asked me a very trivial question via text, and just to be funny I sent him back a LMGTFY link. I figured, “Hey, there should be an official iPhone app for this!” One night of work and several emails later,  the guys at LMGTFY.com bought my app! Get it on the App Store today!

Fareway (iOS & Android)

Fareway Food Stores

Developed for Fareway Food Stores, this application will be a great help to customers inside and outside of their local Fareway store! Find the nearest store, view weekly advertisements, keep a shopping list, and more!

This application is no longer on the App Store as it has been replaced by a newer version.

 

Weatherator (iOS)

Weatherator is the first project from an application development startup that a friend and I founded, Unique Labz. This iOS application will present the user with a simple interface for them to share their thoughts about the current weather!

 

IHSSN (Android)

Iowa High School Sports Network

Developed for the Iowa High School Sports Network, this application will allow users to connect to their online portal to watch live video, stream live audio, view broadcast schedules, and stay updated with statistics!

 

Innovate for the iPhone

Innovate is the College of Engineering’s alumni publication. Stories are posted online about students, faculty, research, and basic College of Engineering news. This application, made for the iPhone, loads the site’s different categories, feeds, and posts directly from the Innovate website. Within the application, users can browse through posts, categories, and links. Any link or story can then be shared on your favorite social networking site(s).

SpeedTip

SpeedTip is a very simple, yet functional, tip calculator. Tip calculators are simple, so what makes this one special? SpeedTip features a “Rate the Service” slider. It is exactly what it sounds like! You choose the base tip amount that you’d like to leave, adjust the slider based on your experience, and you have your adjusted tip amount. SpeedTip also can split the tip for when you’re out in a group of people.
